My hope is to end the search that many people are on for a patient physician who can help them understand the genesis of their symptoms, so they can reclaim their energy, hope and purpose.
Functional medicine is an evidence-based, personalized approach to medicine that leverages the power of positive lifestyle changes. The goal is to get to the root cause of long-standing dis-ease, not just treat the symptoms.
My path to functional medicine combined decades of specialty experience with personal lessons learned in my own family's health journey. I learned how much conventional care can overlook and was driven to create a practice where there is ample time to look "upstream" for triggering events, build genuine trust, and integrate a full spectrum of evidence-based healing approaches.
